'We booked this amazing property for a 60th birthday & Girls trip to get away from the men & boys in our lives! It was perfect!!! There is so much room. We had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We could all comfortably sit in the living room, sit at the table & with only moving one chair around the fire pit on the porch. Any question or concern we had was promptly addressed by Shane. We throughly enjoyed our trip and had already started planning our return with some of the families next year!!!...

'This historical home is just so cool. My kids kept finding new treasures throughout the home. We used it as homebase for my son's wedding and extended family and friends were very comfortable. 'We had the very best time here as a family. Communication with owners was prompt and the check in process/tour by Barbara and her daughter, along with the goodie basket and a note for us was a nice personal touch! We felt very welcomed. The kids (teenage girls) did puzzles, canoed and kayaked. My husband and I canoed in the rain (fishing) and saw an otter swimming towards us, it felt a little magical. 'Host wouldn't answer any questions until the week of our stay, hot tub was green and unusable when we arrived, host refused to come out or have someone treat it. We were told we would get a partial refund for that but didn't. Ended up shocking the water ourselves. There was a bottle marked E-coli in the refrigerator so we were afraid to use it. 'Home is huge and beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Hot tub was awesome! Very quiet area. Hidden away in the mountains, it’s a perfect place for peace and relaxation. Easy to recommend this as your oasis in the mountains! There is also a very nice tavern within walking distance. Nice folks and good food. '
