'This is a very unique hotel in the area of Puerto Aventuras, an area that is otherwise quite dominated by big chain resort hotels. The staff are exceptionally friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a family rather than 'just another tourist'. Breakfasts are amazing! 'Nicer than expected. Nice clean building, new comfortable spacious place with beautiful finishings, safe area. Only complaint is that we had no instructions to check in. We arrived at 8pm. Luckily a very helpful neighbor was able to contact the property manager and got us the door code to get into the place. I’d definitely recommend this place. Just make sure to get the door code before arriving. '

'The staff was very nice. The grounds around the resort were beautiful, the buildings did show some age. The restaurants need attention we traveled with a group and had issues every time we attempted to go eat. We had very long wait times getting tables average time was 2-3 hours regardless of the time. 'My son was injured on the water slide. We signed the waiver, so I guess that's our fault for letting him do it, but it was more dangerous than it appeared for smaller kids and should not be allowable without a weight requirement. Food and drink were good and easy to get a table without waiting. Swimming area was nice, especially for young kids. More rocky that I expected on the beach. Staff were all very helpful. '

'Terasu is a hotel in jungle. The building is not new, but the room is clean. The breakfast was simple, but the scrambled eggs was made tasty. It's not too far from Xcaret Park. This is the reason we chose this hotel. After seeing the evening show at the park after 9pm, it took us 10-15 minutes to the hotel. There is no public transportation to the hotel. If you don't have a car, you have to rely on taxi service which is quite expensive. The staff was very friendly.'
