'This is a very unique hotel in the area of Puerto Aventuras, an area that is otherwise quite dominated by big chain resort hotels. The staff are exceptionally friendly and makes you feel like you're part of a family rather than 'just another tourist'. Breakfasts are amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable, great design of the hotel inside and outside. You can also use their bicycles which is a fun way to go around the town.'

'My son was injured on the water slide. We signed the waiver, so I guess that's our fault for letting him do it, but it was more dangerous than it appeared for smaller kids and should not be allowable without a weight requirement. Food and drink were good and easy to get a table without waiting. Swimming area was nice, especially for young kids. More rocky that I expected on the beach. Staff were all very helpful. '

'The staff was very nice. The grounds around the resort were beautiful, the buildings did show some age. The restaurants need attention we traveled with a group and had issues every time we attempted to go eat. We had very long wait times getting tables average time was 2-3 hours regardless of the time. Overall the staff was excellent I appreciated the fact they understood the importance of GREAT service. '

'The El Dorado Seaside was a large resort that felt cozy and small. The grounds and beach are beautiful! The dining was great with so many options. Very easy to get some great food and drinks at anytime. Our server, Manuel (Luis) in the buffet was a highlight for us. 'Nicer than expected. Nice clean building, new comfortable spacious place with beautiful finishings, safe area. Only complaint is that we had no instructions to check in. We arrived at 8pm. Luckily a very helpful neighbor was able to contact the property manager and got us the door code to get into the place. I’d definitely recommend this place. Just make sure to get the door code before arriving. '
