'Terrific location for a first-time visit to CDMX (close to the Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Presidential Palace) and walking distance to Palacio Bellas Artes, Tile House, and Museo Nacional de Arte. The Zocalo is busy during the day and had concerts several nights, but the area gets pretty deserted late at night (plenty of police presence, however). 'Business hotel in a really nice area: Polanco. Southern Europe meets LA. Wealthiest area in MC. The hotel was great and the view on the park side is spectacular. Some negatives : the staff was plentiful and it felt like most had nothing else to do but to remind people to wear their masks. That there is no outdoor pool is a big negative. With this climate and this location… '

'Outdated hotel in a relatively good area. Very small rooms, where the furniture really needs an update. Breakfast is good but it can be very busy during peak times. '

'To me the Covid restrictions were exaggerating. Put on masks everywhere, keep 1,5 meter distance. Don’t eat and drink near the coffee corner. Too many rules for me. And the check in annoyed me because I couldn’t enter the room at 13:30 but had to wait until 15:00 which became 15:15. Even if fully booked cleaning a small room doesn’t take 2 hours. '

'The hotel has always been a good place to stay for a layover the last decade. Rooms are fine and clean. The only downside last year (a bit) and yesterday appalling, was the shuttle service. They left me 3 hours waiting in Terminal 1. No proper excuse nor solution. The shuttle service is poorly managed. This they should improve as before.'

'One star because the elevator fell down one floor while I was in it together with my partner. It stopped and we pressed the alarm button. After some time it started moving again and we could get out. We were both very scared by this. We told the staff but they didn’t do anything, not even closed the elevator. Besides this there were many more things wrong with the service at this hotel, but where overshadowed by this. I will update my post later with more details about the service.'
