'Unfortunately all of the amenities are closed as of 8/25/2024. We booked specifically for the kiddie pool area and it was not disclosed that the pool deck was still in ruins from hurricane damage. The room was beautiful and very clean, super easy access to the beach so we made the most of our stay! '

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...
