'This is a very pleasant place. It is tastefully decorated and the bar offers a lovely space to grab a drink or a coffee at the end of the day. The breakfast area is elegant and overlooks the green back garden. My room was underground. It wasn’t dark but I could hear the cars that parked nearby and people walking on the road. However since this is a generally quiet area, this was not a major problem. The shower cubicle in my room needed maintenance because the water did not drain well. Otherwise...

'Es el segundo hotel de Experimental que visitamos y como siempre es una experiencia bastante única. Son generosos en cuanto a que te suelen poner en habitaciones superiores a las contratadas. Hay bastante ambiente en el hotel por su magnífica cocktelería. El desayuno es abundante y de calidad aunque los platos calientes pueden mejorar. Tiene un terreno al rededor del hotel con rio, lagos, jardín secreto... y te dejan unas botas de agua para dar un paseo como un Lord. La habitación...

'It is a beautiful hotel with a great history. All the staff were great. Lovely breakfasts. We were there 4 nights and had one dinner there which was great. We wanted to explore Cheltenham the other nights. Only hiccup was on our third day as elderly we decided to make use of the hotel first class facilities (out door heated swimming pool etc) and the most beautiful and comfy lounge. And although our room was empty at 10am , housekeeping did not service it until 3pm in spite of requests. '

We picked The Guiting Guest House because it was centrally located to many of the National Trust Sites (Manors and Gardens) we had planned to visit. The Hosts, Lou and Graham were incredible. 'There is no personal in the hotel. All doors are saved by codes. The codes are in advanced mailed. The chamber was more or less out dated. The bed was ok. Breakfast is not served. You had to pick up a couple of eatables out of a fridge, that does not work properly. Sometimes is was working, but all of a sudden it stopped working and a lot of water was down on the bottem of the fridge. I haven't seen anybody of the staff during my stay in the hotel. In my absence during the day is the room always...
