'This is an old-fashioned hotel with mostly elderly guests. The breakfast is very simple and typically British. No concessions to tourists. The beds are hard. It is simple and clean but not very pleasant.'

'Friendly welcome and an easy check in. I was visiting to attend the Welsh Open Snooker so didn't spend much time in the hotel. My single room was cheap in price but well set up and very clean. Great bed and shower. Nice range of courtesy drinks in the room. I didn't buy breakfast so I cannot comment on food or bar service. I will stay here again'

'The location is excellent, right on the seafront. Parking along the boulevard wasn't a problem for us, it was free. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean, beds were fine and the freshly prepared to order breakfast was very good. The hotel is in dire need of maintenance, though. A lot of stains in the ceiling of our room due to leakage. In the corridor, a bucket to catch the dripping water from the leaking skylight. '
