'We were looking for a rental in the area and stumbled upon this unique property. The place is spacious but has cozy cabin vibes. The fireplace kept the place warm as the outside became a frozen wonderland. The kids loved running through the orchards and picking Satsumas before the freeze. The owners were easy to reach and helpful. '

'This is a wonderful home for us. My family comes to visit my mother and there are too many of us for her home so my brother, husband and I have rented this home twice and really like it. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and convenient to everything we need. The yard is completely fenced and there is an enclosed back porch which is perfect for crating the fur kids. The inside of the home is roomy and has pocket doors to close off the front (carpeted) off from the back which also works well...

'Perfect property for my family. My husband’s family lives near Dothan and the property was the perfect size with all the amenities of home with even a little backyard. In Dothan everything is 10-15 minutes away and within 5 minutes was a Publix, coffee shop, restaurants, etc. Great place and will book again. '

'We appreciated Keith was able to accommodate our reservation with 48 hours notice!The pictures are accurate and as others have indicated the owners deserve a 10 rating for cleanliness! They also included some really extra touches such as a couple of toothbrushes in case you forgot yours and some bottled water. Maybe we just caught housekeeping on a bad day, but what kept this from being a 5 star rental for us was when we arrived, the downstairs bathroom didn't have a single washcloth or hand...

'The house has been updated but lacks many amenities offered at other properties. Furniture appears to be from a yard sale and the master bedroom had an order. There was no soap for bath (only liquid hand soap) and only limited supply of toilet paper and towels. Keurig leaked and only gingerbread coffee was provided. Weather was cold but in the summer time the shoreline and dock would be great. Was nice waking up to see sunrise through the large windows. House was clean and had a modern kitchen...

'I booked this lake house for a large family gathering (12 family members). We had a wonderful time! This is a perfect lake house! Bedrooms and kitchens are fully outfitted. The view is beautiful! Check in and check out was very simple and the owner is very responsive. Highly recommend this home. '

'We stayed over Thanksgiving, and it was the Perfect place To stay as the grandparents of our son’s growing family. We were close to their home and we saw the family a lot. Our place was clean, and our host thought of everything we might need. '

'1) Online looking under 'Rooms & Beds' - Bedroom 1 has a picture of 2 bunk bed sets, as does Bedroom 2 & Bedroom 3 - the pictures show a total of 6 bunk bed sets. However, there is just 1 bunk bed set in each of the bedrooms. So we were short 3 bunk bed sets - meaning our big college guys had to use the top bunk with little headroom. 2) The 'Here are your keys' email did not contain the code to either door. I spent 52 minutes on the phone with VRBO to contact the owner/get the code. VRBO didn't...
