'Heel vriendelijk personeel, erg behulpzaam. Bij binnenkomst duurde het even voordat er iemand kwam, mijn vriend ging achter even kijken en zag verbouwing spullen liggen. Ze zaten midden in een soort van verbouwing, want ze zouden na de zomer periode ook weer dicht gaan om verdere dingen in het hotel aan te pakken. Ze waren nu 2 jaar eigenaar van het hotel en stukje bij beetje waren ze het aan het opknappen. Er zou ook een restaurant opengaan de volgende dag en daar waren ze ook heel druk mee....

'This is a family run hotel in a Victorian building. Our room was really large with a high ceiling with a sea view on the ground floor. Staff were very helpful and bent over backwards to resolve a couple of small issues with the room. The hotel has a spa and also provides evening entertainment even in low season when we visited. 'Very nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room, great views. Clean as a whistle. Bathroom spotless and high spec but shower pressure a bit weak. Slight negative was pool and hot tub was very busy with lots of members - eg 6 teenage boys in the hot tub (perfectly well behaved btw but made it crowded). Appreciate spa is another source of income for hotel but put us off going down next day. Would also have been nice if a few more food options were available in the afternoon as...
