'Had a lovely stay , a charming hotel is a charming historical village and restaurant at the hotel was really great as well as the service, not to mention the local beer which was a perfect Kent ale .. A lot of character all round.. Not forgetting the 13th century church just across the street, where we also received a warm welcome and a short history of the place ..'

'An absolute gem of a pub. The room was tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches, like tea lights in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot bath was gorgeous, with toiletries provided and piping hot water. Perhaps a flannel to wash with would be good and the bottom of our mugs were tea stained which was a bit off-putting but that’s all I’d be picky about.
