'We were upgraded to the top level from our panoramic room booking. It looks like this room was recently renovated. Great views to irikiri & beyond. Would recommend going elsewhere for food. We had the buffet breakfast & the offering was pretty poor for the price.'

'Ik heb een week in Poppy's gelogeerd, het was er prima. Dit resort ligt, zoals de naam al zegt, aan een lagune met een privéstrandje en wat strandbedjes en kajaks. Er zijn 3 zwembaden, maar op het familiebad na, stellen die niet zoveel voor, ze zijn echter wel schoon. Er zijn verschillende accommodatiekeuzes, van ruime gezinsappartementen aan het strand tot aan standaard kamer in een klein gebouw wat meer naar achteren. Ik verbleef in 1 van deze kamers, wat wel betekende dat het een pittige klim...

We explored the island a lot including going over to Irikiri Island and Hideaway Island and each time were so much happier with our accomodation at Fatumaru Lodge. Key benefits: - very peaceful and quiet. You rarely hear staff or other guests - extremely roomy. We had the 2 bedroom and felt like it had lots of space. - very strong air conditioning - very comfy beds - great outdoor balcony for drying clothes and catching last of the sun...

'We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. The staff were absolutely amazing my 3 year old loved the attention from all the staff from his babycino in the mornings to his daily catch ups with William...
