'I of course did not expect much for the low price I paid for the accommodation in Zona Romantica. But the modest facilities in my room were quite weary / not maintained properly. It was a unpleasant surprise to find out that the only window in my room was looking into a covered patio, which meant no direct sunlight in the room. I would personally not recommend this hotel, unless you are on a really low budget and/or do not care much of the condition of your accommodation, but still want to stay...

'Great styling and fabulous rooftop. The location was just a few blocks away from all the bars and restaurants and there were taco stands within 2 blocks. The host put together a very helpful guest book with good recos! I may choose to stay closer to the beach itself next time but this was a solid option. The elevator was down for the 4 nights of my visit, but the bonus of that is that the roof was empty. I feel like the hotel may have been more luxurious years ago, but staff left cleaning...
