The price was pretty high for what it was, the Days inn was the only other hotel near by and it was $20 cheaper a night, but not pet friendly, which the Village Inn was pet friendly. 'Although the staff was great, the property is old and tired. The attempt to update falls short, very short. TV did not work. Shower was barely warm. Tile floor (entire floor) was dirty (not easy to keep clean). Again, not the fault of Staff, property is just worn out!'

'Booked for a quick weekend with the family! Truly is hidden away! Great location for some R&R and unplugging with family!! Very quiet and secluded! Cabin was very clean and check in was seamless. No need to contact host on a short stay but I'm sure they are great. **Only thing keeping it from 5 stars across the board is the horseshoe pit needs tending and is not as pictured. Still useable but upkeep would complete the whole experience and match the attention to detail of the cabin!** '

'We enjoyed the quiet, the small wildlife, and peacefulness of the lake. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Our only criticism would be the coffee pot. It kept shutting off before it made a full pot, and didn’t keep the coffee hot. Other than that, all good. '
