'We had a wonderful stay at MacLean Cottage. A spaciius house with lots of atmosphere. But also the location was great: a beautiful view over Loch Broom and a 20 minutes drive to Ullapooland there are natural surroumdings all over. We had a warm welcome on arrival which also attributed to our stay! We would book it again if returning to this area.'

'The location is wonderful, but that’s all the property has going for it. I have never stayed in such a dirty house. I had to clean the downstairs windows, so we could see the view. Mould in both bathrooms. Hairs on bathroom walls and dirt. The kitchen is filthy. Front garden fill with weeds. The whole house was dirty. Not a clean picture or mirror in the whole house. Avoid at all costs. One of beds smelled of sweat. I really don’t know how the owner gets away renting it out. I did speak to owner...

'Wir waren mit 5 Personen für 2 Wochen dort. Das Haus ist sehr groß und geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder mit WC sind vorhanden. Sehr schön ist der Wintergarten. Die Lage eignet sich gut für Wanderausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend schön, egal ob an der Küste oder im Landesinneren. Auto ist aufgrund der abgelegenen Lage notwendig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert.'

'Well-equiped kitchen, lovely views from all rooms, the heater was not always doing what we wanted it to do, but there was a lovely fireplace, we lit some cosy fires. Very nicely remote, private lot.'
