'A quiet peaceful property with horses goats and ducks to meet! Heating was great in the cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch getting some fresh air.'

'We stayed at the house end of August. The weather was really nice, warm during the day and chilly at night. The house overall was nice, clean and well equipped. The road to the house is interesting… dirt road thought the woods and you have to cross a small creek. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The town itself is bit boring, nothing really there to see or do. It’s a perfect location if you’re planning on staying at the house and Anjou the beautiful view in the back. We had a great time....

'We rented the cottage because we needed a place to stay as we were seeing Phish play at Bethel all 3 nights . The cottage was perfect , clean ,cozy and quiet . Loved the out side !! And the Hot tub was icing in the cake !!!! '

'This is a nice, historic farmhouse on a stream right outside of Hancock, NY. Centrally located for drift boat trips on the West Branch and Mainstem. Although it is on a two lane road, the backyard is very private and the large windows give a great view of the stream.'

'This cottage is fantastic. The owner left beer, condiments, snacks and toiletries Only caution is for those who struggle with stairs. They take you to the bedroom. They are sturdy but steep and narrow. A great place!!! . '

'My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing long weekend. The check in process was easy and the house was clean. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out on the water. We appreciated having a nice hot tub right outside as the afternoon got colder. It was nice having wood available to build a fire in the fire pit. I would have liked to stay a little longer.'

'We had an absolute BLAST at this house!!!! Honestly, the pictures did not do it justice. The beautiful views around, waking up to morning fog, the amount of sprawling space across all 4 properties. I can’t say enough great things. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We WILL be back!'

'We are a group of college friends who have been getting together for over forty years. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and now, with 3 generations attending, we need larger accommodations. I think we’ve found our place. Lovely setting. Clean, comfortable rooms. Plenty of bathrooms! We had perfect weather but even if there were rain, the front veranda offers lots of space to hang out. (A few rocking chairs would be nice for the babies and grandparents.) Overall, a lovely...

Eenvoudig maar schoon en compleet.

"Een eenvoudig hotel, gedateerd ook. Maar de prijs is navenant, dus dat kun je verwachten. Het was goed schoon. De bedden waren goed. Parkeerplek genoeg. Er was een magnetron, koffiezetapparaat en koelkast op de kamer. Een extra tafeltje met twee stoelen ook. Wij waren eerlijk gezegd aangenaam verrast gezien de lage prijs. In de omgeving verschillende restaurants. Wij zijn naar een bbq restaurant geweest ongeveer 2 km verderop waar we echt uitstekend gegeten hebben. Er is ook een supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat. "
