'Oldest pub in town, founded in 1368. It almost looks like the interior and comfort of the rooms has not changed since.... very small room, bed to short and very, very thin walls. Everything happening in either of the adjecent rooms could impossably be ignored. Breakfast only available after 8.00, which is annoying when on a business trip with early meetings. Staff was kind enough to give me a coffee in the morning, but this did not male up for a bad night sleep.'

'Another comfortable stay here in the George Best room. The room was ell equipped and quality tea/ coffee biscuits. Just a couple of very minor issues (shower control handle loose and no tissues in the dispenser) Lovely Staffordshire oatcakes for breakfast.'
