'We were in Bright for the Alpine 4 Peaks event. It was my first time in Bright. We loved it! The accommodation was perfect. Exactly as described. Very friendly agents, clear instructions. Ideal location - short walk into town, quiet and peaceful. The balcony was great. The only downside was that we didn't get to use the fireplace, as the weather was beautiful and warm! Would definitely go back.'

'We had a 3 night stay at Lake Escape. The property was ideal for our extended family with plenty of bedding options. We were disappointed with the BBQ and outdoor area. The BBQ was old, tired looking and not as clean as we would have liked so we chose not to use it, also the outdoor area was covered in cobwebs. Apart from this we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this property'

'We only had a one night stopover but very much enjoyed this accommodation, which retained its period charm while having a modern restoration to its bathroom and kitchen. Conveniently located within a stone's throw of the general store, cafe and the hotel. We (4) would happily stay here again. '

'Lovely farmhouse with 4 spacious bedrooms and all the equipment you need for a comfortable stay. Chickens, sheep, cows, etc. all nearby. Wonderful views of the mountains and the valley. Very quiet location, about 10 mins drive from Bright. Easy access to Mt Hotham and Mt Buffalo.'

'Couldn't get any communication from Will, found key in the letterbox but we could not stay there, absolutely disgusting condition, clothes everywhere, mold growing in pots, toothbrushes, used unwashed linen, beds unmade, basically crap everywhere. We could not stay one night in this property, had to book a motel elsewhere. '

'Bright itself, property and host all great! Touch harsh on the noise restriction for 8 adults to have a 10pm curfew for noise and music though. Our only gripe that soured our stay, was that the neighbour at 11.20pm on a Friday night threatened to call the Police because we were laughing and having fun. Could have been a touch nicer about it, seeing we were very compliant. We will take better note of noise restrictions next time we choose. '

'This property was perfect! Myself and a group of friends went down for a couple of nights to have some fun on the lake. The weather was brisk but sunny and the house was perfect. The indoor fireplace and the heaters was great against the cold. The beautiful kitchen had everything that we needed for cooking large amounts of food. the design was stunning. The tea and coffee bench was greatly utilised. Love the big windows from the floor to the calling. The place was clean and tidy. The...

'The house was very clean. We were a bit startled at having to bring sheets and towels, but we got enough warning to be prepared. The instructions came in a strange way that was hard to read but I managed to enlarge them enough to print them and if we squinted we could work out the words. The location was quiet, with good views. The beds were comfortable. We found the light over the table not good enough to play board games, but we were able to use one of the bedside lamps.'
