'Goed verzorgde accommodatie met ruime tuin in landelijke omgeving. Gastvrije en zeer vriendelijke en ontspannen eigenaren. Gezellige dieren op het terrein: honden, katten, kippen. Konden gratis eieren rapen en appels en pruimen plukken. Op redelijke afstand konden we prachtige lokaties bezoeken: Jane Austen House, Highclere Castle, Stonehenge, .Winchester, Oxford en Windsor Castle.'

'Wij hebben een mooie tijd gehad bij de fam Bloomsfield. Het huisje was heel ruim en netjes verzorgd. Twee grote slaapkamers en twee nette badkamers. In de keuken was alles aanwezig: oven, magnetron, vaatwasser. Wifi was prima! De auto kon geparkeerd worden voor het huisje. Kortom een echte aanrader!!'

'We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!'

'Checkin , parking and the apt were terrific - very large space. walkable to Jericho and central Oxford - or bike-able. Near the canal walk and close to Port Meadow. Possibly one of the better locations in Oxford. The apartment is modern and well equipped but there were just a few negative points more for the owners to repair. I don't normally post negatives but I think this flat/apt is def worth it with a few minor tweaks There were lights that didn't work in the bathrooms just needed...

'Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.'

'The photos really don't do the sheer tranquility of the settinf justice. Total isolation in the cotswolds, beautiful surrounding scenery. The house is nice if not new spec on all the funishings, but the real win is the location and the setting. Perfect for our group of friends who wanted to relax and stay up late drinking and chatting and enjoyinf the hot tub. But I'd also come back with my family any day of the week. If you do stay, check out the Rose and Crown in Shilton for a great meal.'
