'We absolutely loved the place. Very private and quiet area with your own private pool in the yard. Sarah and her property managers were awesome. I Steph on a stingray in the ocean while there and her manager Paulina sent me to her doctor for treatment and offered to help in any other way that we needed. Holbox is a nice little town with a beautiful beach, off the beaten path and very safe. I highly recommend staying here. '

'Wonderful week. Omar and Patti provided answers to our questions and insights into local stores, customs, people and things to do as well as connections to services such as taxis, boats, etc...'

'A group of 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) enjoyed staying here. The pool was perfect and shady, great for when it got too hot on the beach. The house was clean and well equipped. We could have done with a couple more sun chairs for outside (two were broken) and more light in the kitchen. It’s quite hard to se what you’re cooking. It’s such a shame that right next door there is was a building plot covered with rubbish which gave the place quite an unfinished feeling.'

'The house is beautiful. The garden is even better. Don't over look the value of the breakfast included. Maxu our host was super fun and an excellent cook. Half of us are vegetarian and the food was one of the best part of the trips. We added a few dinners that were a great deal. Our primary purpose was to birdwatch in the area early in the day and then play in the yard and pool. In the yard alone we identified 45 species. Highlights include: Russet-naped Wood-Rail, Gartered Trogon, Lesson's...

'The place is just as lovely as the photos. We rented both houses and had the pool to ourselves for the week. It was a perfect spot for a family vacation. There are restaurants close by, and a convenience store around the corner. The beach is a max 3 minute walk (noted some reviews say a few blocks, but it is one small block). We especially enjoyed the beach "to the left" where the ocean is shallow a long way in, and the bottom is hard packed white sand. Finally, we asked the house managers to...

"Bohonito zit op een perfecte locatie als je midden in het gezellige centrum van Holbox wil verblijven. De kamer heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, wij verbleven er met 2 kinderen van 4 en 2 en dat ging prima. Dank voor de goede zorgen! "

"We had an amazing stay at Villas HM Palapas del Mar. We traveld with 2 families and got upgraded so we could stay in 1 villa, this included a pool on the ground floor. The villa and rooms are very nice and spacious. Cleaning was done evey day. The food and drinks are great and the service (also on the beach, which is a 1 minute walk) is amazing. On arrival we opted for all inclusive, a good choice if you spend most your daytime near the hotel and like a drink every now and then. Only point of improvement in our room was the showerhead/hand shower. We stayed for 5 nights during our 15 day trip in yucatan. This we experienced as a good amount of time before leaving home."
