'Nice hotel overall but some things in the room needed updating or fixing. Very clean and great friendly staff. Pool area needs more lounge chairs maybe some on the grassy part so there are options The breakfast was amazing. We had the Macademia Nut waffles with coconut syrup and Mac Nut Butter. To die for. Don’t forget to capture the beautiful sunset. '

' Royal Sonesta is a high quality resort with immaculate structure and furnishings. There are plenty of restaurants (although quite pricey), beautiful grounds and gardens and an amazing pool. It’s a step across a walkway to the beach.'

'This is a really nice resort in a beautiful and central location. The rooms are small but very well appointed. Abby at the front desk was really Great but the folks at the bar were not very helpful or friendly. The view and ocean are gorgeous and an amazing beach for swimming is nearby at the Sheraton. '

'The property and room was much better tha. We expected. The room was very large with a couch that slept both kids easily. The pool was a big hit with a 7 and 9 year old. Ocean was nice to walk down too but not for swimming, not in the winter months at least. Overall it was nicer than I expected. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here again if we make it back to Kauai. '

'Very clean. Staff in lobby and housekeeping was very responsive in person. Had problem connecting with Internet service and left phone message with front desk that wasn't returned during our 3 night stay. Master bedroom TV was not connected to cable.'

'The hotel is lovely and very family and couple friendly, but do not expect the room you booked, we specifically paid for a room away from the pool with an ocean view, however they “upgraded” us to a room right above the pool and nothing could be done as they considered this an upgrade. Staff were absolutely lovely and willing to help.'
