'From the booking process, questions prior to arrival and truly feeling at home from the minute you walk in the door to checkout it was the easiest, nicest home we have rented in the past 11 years. 'We visited the lodge for a thanksgiving family getaway. The rooms and house are very spacious. Vrbo’s description of the house was very accurate. The owners of the home are very nice, welcoming, and are timely in responding. One negative I would give is the housekeeping of the house. It needed more of a “detailed” cleaning. This property could also be more handicapped friendly as far as entering the house. Overall, it was a great stay and would recommend to others. '

'The house has all of the amenities you need to stay in touch if you want but also the beautiful outdoors to distract you and allow you to escape from reality and just enjoy the lake. Floats, kayaks, towels, grill, fire pit, wifi, it was all amazing! We had a few hiccups when we got there but Emily and Tucker jumped right on it and we were fixed in no time!'

'I asked the owners if they would be open to a well behaved dog if we booked multiple weekends in a row during several months for hunting season. They said no which is fine. It doesn't hurt to ask.
