'13 ladies all had a fabulous time from start to finish. Fantastic place to unwind and forget about home life for a few days. The beds were so comfortable. House was amazing!! Loved every minute of our stay would highly recommend to family and group bookings!!'

'We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad in Launde Barn. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten met de auto naar York, er is een busverbinding op loopafstand van het huisje. Bij aankomst was het schoon, fris, keurig opgemaakte bedden, met zachte handdoeken. Er stond voor ons ook een zelfgebakken kruidcake, heerlijk. Het is een ruim huis. Er zijn twee slaapkamers met een tweepersoonsbed en een badkamer met wc, wastafel en douche, alleen bereikbaar via de slaapkamers. De derde slaapkamer heeft twee...

'Lovely house with enclosed garden for our dog. Fridge and freezer needed a good clean and the cups needed replacing ( cracked and badly stained). Otherwise all was good!'

'The cottage is very close to the beach and the town centre, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing, and it has a parking spot outside the property, it is well equipped it has a full sized fridge freezer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy cottage.'

'We informed Host and Stay the day we arrived the toilet down stairs was not working. We called them each day we were there to get resolution. They came to look at the toilet the next day in the afternoon and yet they did not fix the toilet. They made no attempt the remaining 2 days we were there. When we left 2 days later, the toilet had not been fixed. Host and Stay has been non-responsive as to offering us a refund.'

'1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. '

'The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.'

'Fabulous properties, comfortable surroundings and excellently stocked with everything you could need. Great walks and only 15 minutes drive into York. Great pub on the corner of the street….enjoyed by all!'
