'The property is everything and then some. Gorgeous sunset views, ample outdoor space and plenty of places to sit eat or play outdoor games. The house is very well equipped. All of the rooms are very generously sized and having incredible ocean views. Our house could not have been nicer and responded to everything almost immediately. We can’t wait to come back!'

'The house was perfect for our family of eight (including a two year old). Everyone loved the pool, privacy and beautifully landscaped grounds. Being literally three minutes from the beach was such a plus. We walked down every morning and evening for the sunrises/sunsets. I highly recommend this property ! It made our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed Maui!'

'We have stayed at the Papakea many times and overall, found this to be a good unit for families. The layout is spacious and carpets have been replaced with hard surface flooring so it is easy to clean. The ocean and garden views are nice and it is also north facing so does not get very overheated by direct sun. The unit is well equipped with boogie board and beach items. 'Property is first class and our family of 8 (2 adults, 3 teens and grandparents) had a wonderful Christmas vacation. Great location 10min walk to beach and restaurants. '

'We enjoyed the rental very much. It is far from town but we rented a car and got our groceries and supplies. We did end up buying to much so it’s donation to the cleaners. The views and walk to the beach are fabulous. The only thing is the red sand/ dirt. Trying to keep our feet and shoes clean. Some of the cooking supplies were broken or unusable. We did buy new and left them for the next guest. '

'We loved this place! The screened in porch was incredible and the place was perfect for our family to have time to be together and play games. There were four large beds and the place was tropical and minutes from the beach. We will stay there again. Highly recommended!'
