'Housekeeping erratic. Floor never vacuumed, towels first changed after 1 week, then sometimes daily, sometimes after 3-4 days. Staff at reception helpful.'

'Location - superb, walking distance to supermart, eating places/bars/cafe, lake front park, spa etc. Room - clean, neat, bright and spacious for me. Common kitchen - utensils, mugs, microwave, fridge available for some easy meals. Fast check in and friendly and helpful staff. No issue with shared bathroom and shower as generally not many are sharing and are always available. Happy staying here.'

'This was our first night's stay in NZ after the plane from Singapore. V friendly lady on reception who gave us some milk for tea. We were allocated room 6 which was spotlessly clean but needs, in my opinion, a new mattress. It is too soft. Kitchen is well stocked. '

'we were a small team on a conference. it worked very well. the showers could do with a shelf or two for convenience. the kitchen and lounge room are big and very well stocked with utensils. towel supplied but bring your own wash cloth. We will be back '

'Een mooi traditioneel gebouw in prima staat van onderhoud. Hotel ligt aan een doorgaande weg en is daardoor makkelijk te bereiken. Diverse eetgelegenheden op wandelafstand en gratis parkeren bij naastgelegen kerkgebouw. Kamer was keurig, maar heel erg klein. Er was geen ruimte om je koffer normaal neer te leggen. Over de koffer moeten stappen om in het bed te komen. Comfortabel bed.'
