'Nice hotel for couples or family '

'Very interesting and historic property. The room was nice. Bathroom was very spacious. A couple of minor issues, though. The hot water tap of the bathroom sink had very low water pressure, and the faucet was leaking slightly. Also, the location of this property isn’t very convenient - it is not close to anything. But the price was very reasonable considering how clean, quiet, historic, and relatively upscale this hotel is. One of the most affordable options in Kansas City.'

'We think either one of us should have been permitted to check in. It's never happened that only one of us could check in. We made the reservations together. We've been coming to KC off and on for the past 30 years and have stayed here when it was known as the Sheraton. We were disappointed with that. The pool and fitness center were really great! I really don't want to start a Peloton account, so pleased that I could bike without one. Our dog Barney really enjoyed his stay. The staff is so nice...

'The food and the staff were amazing, but the beds are extremely uncomfortable. They were far too soft, where I woke up with a raging, headache and back pain. Then, trying to share a bed where it is so worn out that I was constantly being slid into the middle of the bed. Overall, I would say three out of five stars.'

'Another great stay at Stoney Creek. We love this hotel. Beautiful lobby with a dual fireplace and western decor. A great bar that has popcorn and multiple screens. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We're regulars!'
