'I get the weather and the warmth, but there we 100s of lady bugs coming in every available spot in doors and windows. They made the main level and the upstairs unhabitable. The house itself was beautiful, cozy and welcoming. The propert was well maintained and the hot tub and fire pit were great additions. The location was great for local attractions and ease of travel. We would definitely stay here again, just not woth warm fall temps.'

'Three couples went to stay at the beautiful house and were in awe from moment we stepped in. It was so beautiful and clean. The views from the back porch and hot tub were so amazing. It was the perfect place to stay to do the wine trail. We appreciated all the communication from our host. Would definitely stay again. '

'The house was very clean. Linens were in great shape! Towels were amazing. We loved the basket of blankets/throws. The small pool table was a huge hit! Everyone played at some point of our visit. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc. We wished the weather had been warmer so we could have used the outdoor space. Lake view was beautiful & relaxing. We would rent again if we are meeting in Southern Illinois. Our group came from NW Indiana, Chicago and Atlanta.'

'The location is unbeatable. The house is beautiful. We could feel the attention to detail and pride the owners have in everything , down to the fancy lighting fixtures and welcoming lemonade in the fridge. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were well stocked; the house was both professionally presented while also being comfortably unpresumptuous. The rate was more than fair and made the stay even that much more enjoyable. Loved it in every way. Thank you for opening your home !'

'The cabin was very clean and cozy. The decor was perfect. The layout was nice, especially the open floor plan. The hot tub is spectacular - lights, lots of modes, great temperature control. No WiFi, which we knew in advance, and used our Hotspots on our phone. The TV was listed as a Smart TV, so we thought we could watch Netflix and other apps that we have subscriptions to at home, but the stations were through an antenna and very limited and the reception was spotty. Not a deal breaker for us...
