'Close to campus and Amtrak. Close to lots of nightlife and downtown. Clean and friendly staff. Temperature was kept high, so it was a little uncomfortable……especially in the workout room. '

'Things went bad at check in when I was charged $162 even though I had a confirmed charge through booking with hotels.com of $146. The desk staff saw the email.. did nothing. They forward it to manager.. who did nothing. Very disappointing that giving a credit of $18 seemed not possible . Although a nice hotel ..I will not stay there again. '

'Our only issue was that breakfast was from 6-9. We arrived down to the eating area at 8:00 and almost everything was gone. The girl working was standing there with her coat on like she was ready to leave. Then several others came down wanting food as well. She wasn’t happy that she had to get more food out.'

'I can’t tell you how many times we said “what a beautiful location” this weekend! It is truly stunning! We enjoyed use of the lake and the many kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats they had. We also enjoyed feeding the miniature horses apples. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. Plenty of room! Close to the wine trail, Giant City and Carbondale. The host Brian was very friendly and checked to make sure everything was good upon checkin. All around great experience! We will be...
