We were asked ahead of time how we wanted bed configuration, it was suggested we could all have king beds (beds could be pushed together & made up as kings) well none of the 3 beds were like that when we got there. Other than that it was close to shops, places to eat and Portree was lovely'

'Beautiful, remote home in Skye. Near a wonderful restaurant, The Stein Inn, near beautiful hikes, and overall very cozy. Would not hesitate to recommend( however would warn that the kitchen utensils and implements are quite sparse so choose your groceries wisely. '

'We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of 6 adults and were very comfortable. It was nice that every room had its own bathroom and the home was very clean. The views from the living room were stunning! '

'Het huis is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken is top. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het uitzicht vanaf de woonkamers is subliem. Je kijkt zo aan tafel met je kopje koffie over Lochalsh.'

'My husband and I and two friends from the States recently spent three wonderful nights at The Old Church on the Isle of Skye. The beautiful old church has been thoughtfully and beautifully restored and renovated into two 3 bedroom units with ample amenities. We were in the Preachers Rest and had beautiful views of the Little Minch Strait. The stunning grounds of the property were immaculate and lovingly cared for. We would recommend this property and its proprietors without hesitation and hope...

'Group of friends stayed in Portree for the weekend and we could not have had better accommodations. House is a great location, easily walkable to everything downtown but on a cozy and private street away from the crowds. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Portree!'

'We had a magical stay at Eaglerock. This is such a special place. It is even more beautiful than the photos. We loved Applecross. The fantastic view of Skye without the crowds. Catherine is a fantastic host. Highly recommend!!'

'The location is outstanding whatever the weather. Comfortable accomodation . Great for our second family holiday here. Perfect for unwinding and reconnecting.'

'The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller.'

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
