'Beautiful view. Place kind of smelled musty'

'The cottage was absolutely adorable with wonderful details including decor and furnishings. It was also so well stocked with essentials. The view from the front porch was perfect. '

'The location of this house is perfect - near the beach and walkable distance to grocery stores. It was comfortable for our family and the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils. The property owner was extremely responsive to all my questions and requests, even delivering propane for the barbecue on Christmas morning!'

'This place was great and I would stay again in a heartbeat! It is literally right on the ocean. The east side is centrally located to get to all parts of the island. One word of caution, if you do plan on going south a lot, the traffic can be quite bad. The view and the space was worth it though. The pool was very nice. The unit had everything you would need. Close to shopping and dining. Very clean. I felt right at home. Hope to able to visit again one day!'

'This house was perfect for exploring Kauai. Easy walk to the ocean. Fast drive to either side of the island. Plenty of hikes close by. Bike path is right there for biking, running or strolling. Down town Kapa'a is a close walk. Kitchen was very well stocked. Safeway is a close walk. There was plenty of room for all of use. 4 kids shared the upstairs room and the adults each had a room and bathroom. The ocean breeze keeps the house cool. The only thing I would change is a keyless entry...

'Such a beautiful vibe at this well planned and well kept home! Our two daughters, their spouses, and two grandsons age 9 & 12 enjoyed a great stay with us. Careful thought was evident in every area of family life, from dining to sleeping to beach gear. Walked everywhere on the beautiful path, enjoyed the comfy beach views, moments away from groceries and shops. Comfortable for us in our seventies, gangs of fun for the preteens. Took snorkel classes the first day and swam with big turtles and...

'We rented two ocean front condos. The kitchens were well stocked. The units were nicely furnished. The views were incredible. The grounds were so pristine! The kids loved the pool and walking to Lydgate to swim and snorkel. It was quiet and not busy. We enjoyed endless walks on the beach. It was a great place to get together with the family. They don’t nickel and dime your for parking, resort fees, etc. this was perfect for our needs! We are already planning a return trip for next year!'

'This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs...
