'I came up to Saratoga Springs with my wife and 2 year old dachshund for Thanksgiving. The Adelphi is a lovely newly renovated hotel that is very dog friendly. We lived our room and how welcome they made the three of us feel. They included and plush comfy dog bed and bowls in our room, with plenty of treats each time we walked in. The hotel is perfectly located in the main street, very close to a large park where we walked every morning. We loved our stay.'

'Check in was fast and staff was friendly. They do not have electronic key cards, just old fashioned keys but no paddle making it very easy to lose and they charge you $10 if you lose it or don't turn it in. I generally don't care for outside entry motels but this had an automatic locking door knob, a deadbolt, and a chain so I felt perfectly safe. Room was large and clean. I used the TV the refrigerator and a hair dryer it all worked without issue. TV was tiny. The towels were tiny and paper...

'Charming little hotel right on Saratoga Lake. Format is an old-style "tavern on the bottom, small rooms above" configuration. The room was snug and outfitted in a clean, updated Colonial fashion. Didn't give 5 stars for service, not because it was bad, but it was essentially self-check and stay. Lovely to wake up to the lake outside our window.
