'Our group had a great stay here, the home is more beautiful than the pictures. Watkins Glen was only ~20 minutes away. We didn't get the chance to go down to the lake but the view was great. The deck had plenty of space and we liked the fire pit. The host instructions were clear and responsive. Thank you for.a wonderful stay!'

'Pet friendly weekend get away. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. This cottage was perfect. It was close to restauraunts, wineries, and breweries. Some hiking trails within 30 minutes that our dog loved as well. Such as the Finger Lakes National Forest. It had all items for cooking a meal at home too. Cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay. '

'We so enjoyed our stay, especially given there were no near barking dogs or misbehaving children (we are empty nesters). The property though, needs to have the addition of a TV and DVD movie selections. We brought a portable DVD player with us. This could be easily added to the lower level room. 'It was the perfect winter getaway! The home is beautiful, with an open layout that has plenty of space for 4 people. The bathrooms were spacious, the beds and couches were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare our own meals. We loved waking up to gorgeous sunrises and enjoyed breathtaking views of the lake. 'Great spot. Took six girl friends for a mom’s weekend off. This house has everything and more! Fire pit, hot tub, deck with amazing views, games and everything you could want in a kitchen. We had coffee and wine on repeat. Would be a great spot in warm months but we enjoyed toasty fireplaces and several sitting areas to hang out and unwind. Did wine tour of the lake and was gorgeous. Margaret was responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!'

'This was a business trip for racing. GPS took us to street below location so I could see the house, but took a few minutes to figure out how to get to the actual street. The street is on a one way road. Great place with the necessary basics. Will continue to rent there in the future for the racing events!'

'The view was gorgeous and truly blessed for the opportunity. A little more attention to detail for the kitchen-especially the sink, wine glasses, a few dishes and stove. Upon arrival I had to shovel snow and salt-creating a walkway for me and my mom. Other than a few minor concerns that can be resolved for future guest - I would recommend this place. Take the time to visit this quiet place of peace. '

'Perfect location, beautiful view of Lake and the stars!! Clean place, Wi-Fi better than I thought it would be. Only complaint is hot tub. It took 16 hours to get it up to temp from our original check in time. Once up to temp, it was nice, but loses heat after about half hour. It drops 5 degrees then takes about 8 hours to get back up to temp. I know it’s a newer hot tub so I assume host is working out the kinks. Great stay though and good host communication. '

'My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night visit to Grouse Haven. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed walking in the snow covered woods on the property. We enjoyed our time at Grouse Haven so much that we hated to leave. Phyllis was a delight to get to know and was very helpful to us. We can’t wait to make a return visit to this lovely property.'
