'Very enjoyable stay. Was as advertised in a great location.'

'Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow).'

'After being let down last minute on a previous booking we found this hidden gem last minute. The cottage was very well equiped with everything you need, had super comfy beds and a cosy log burner to warm us up after a days walking. And of course the hot tub...bliss!! There was even a lovely thoughtful welcome pack. Would highly recommend and the area is stunning too'

'Good location light very well stocked but for us a bit small bathroom and bedroom and maintenance of unit not good ie. kitchen sink door and blind jn bedroom and key was not where it said it was going to be. overall ok'

'Tastefully decorated & well appointed cottage, in an ideal position, in this hidden gem location. Within walking distance to pubs, deli & restaurant & right on the coastal path. We would highly recommend & hopefully make a return visit. '

'A wonderful property with everything you need, luxurious and stylish throughout. Excellent location overlooking Portwrinkle beach, with easy access for strolls and the south west coast path. The hot tub was relaxing and the little touches were welcomed by the hosts. '

'Great location for exploring the area, beautiful views - imagine would be even better in summer. Nice accommodation, fairly well equipped, but showers and heating could be better (couldn’t use the fire as no fire guard - we have dogs).'

'We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again '

'Our entire stay was fantastic, the home owner Suze was amazing in helping with our arrangements for our small wedding - private chef Adrian was superb, housekeepers were amazing at helping us understand how the house worked and also took in our shopping! We even managed a couple of dips in the very fresh sea to start the day! A magical break enjoyed by all.. We have recommended to several friends and family and will hopefully stay again soon. '

good value, great location

"Everything was good, apart from the coffee at breakfast. Investing in a good coffee machine with decent coffee beans would be a big improvement (I couldn't drink the coffee). Also provide some small espresso cups which many foreign guests would prefer. Despite this small complaint, I would recommend the Hotel. Nioce people, great location, good value."
