'What a wonderful place to be! The road to the house was quite an adventure, because of the narrow lanes, holes in the roads and overhanging branches. But once you’re there…fantastic view, great walks, no neighbors, a paradise for the dog, beach nearby with great food and always friendly people. The house has everything you need, and contact with the owner is very pleasant!'

'A really nice cottage which is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Ideal for a short stay and a great option if you're attending a wedding at 'The Green' wedding venue which is 5 minutes drive away.'

'Beautiful cottage, everything you need. Close to town, which is beautiful. Some lovely beaches not far away. '

'Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow).'

'We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again '

'We booked the cottage near to my partners work for his 40th, it was a perfect location. Hot tub was amazing and main bedroom was more than we could wish for in a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed. Would recommend for those who love an adventure on the coastal paths although they are steep. We will def love to visit again'

'We spend a lovely week in this house by the sea. Everything was clean and the house provided enough space for our family of 5. The house was well equiped and provided everything we needed, including bodyboard + wetsuits. Even though the weather could have been better, we enjoyed the spacy terras with the wonderfull view. Hope to come back some day.'

'The property is clean and well maintained there are a significant amount of steps to get to it (I counted 62 in all) but the views at the top are worth it. One word of warning though, I found out to my dismay that there was no network coverage at the property so you can't access the email containing your key code to get in the property when you arrive so make a note of it beforehand. I didn't and had to walk back down all those steps to the main car park to get reception and access the email...
