'Our family needed a place to stay while visiting our son and daughter in law and family in Mayfield to receive surprise news that our daughter is law is expecting with first child. There was not enough room at their home so we researched and found this gem. Interior/exterior looked brand new. Clean, well lit, enjoyed the fireplace and open kitchen, dining and living room layout. Easy access to the lake plus a fun deck, kids play area and fire pit. We had 7 in our group and this place...

'Overall was good and we enjoyed our family visit. We were disappointed with lake levels at this time of year so lake could not be accessed from the property. Recommend checking USGS lake data before traveling with any watercraft. House was nice. Knotty pine paneling and ceiling were a great look Kitchen area was fairly well equipped. Comfortable family room as shown in photos on the site. Two bedrooms were great size. Two were quite small, but we made do. Parking was good. Covered...

The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. 'Otsego Lake is a stunner! Our best lake experience that we have had as a family to date. The property was really nice and afforded our family everything we needed for a couple of weeks. '

'The house was just as described. It was so homey for our small family thanksgiving vacation. The view is breathtaking and so peaceful. It snowed thanksgiving day and the owners were so amazing cleaning the property and even helped cleaned our cars. 'Cute. Small. Kitchen well-equipped, including Keureg with some pods provided for coffee & tea, sweetener & powdered cream (morning coffee info is important to me!). Near Empire State Trail, which was perfect because I was biking in and out from the trail. Host very accessible. Location appears rural, but there are active train tracks very nearby, so it can get noisy, but it settles a bit at night. I was confused because in the listing it says sleeps 4, and in the photos the upstairs beds looked...
