'It’s a good 3 star hotel with lovely staff. With an injection of cash and more staff training (plenty available but lacking attention to detail) it could become a really good 4 star. The big let down was the poor shower and dated bathroom. But it’s one of those hotels that you just want to to do better '

'Another lovely stay at Darling Lodge with Stephan and Oliver. Very welcoming. Good advice on restaurants The Old Forge in Darling and The Beach House in Yzerfontein Dont miss the Darling Museum very close by. It's a real gem!'

'The garden is beautiful and so fitting for the area. We stayed at the longhouse which was a very charming and beautiful place to stay at. The owners are very helpful and friendly which made us feel at home. We really loved our stay at Yellow Aloe and if we ever have to stay in the Cederberg again, then we shall definately return.'

'Goede en efficiënte ontvangst. Op zich een keurig verzorgde chalet met mooi uitzicht en een goede keuken. Het huis bleek echter super gehorig, je kon de buren van het aangrenzende chalet letterlijk verstaan. De pizza's van het restaurant waren niet goed geprepareerd, de manager haalde ze na reclamatie gelijk van de rekening. '

'Lovely lodge right on the beach. Quaint lodge rooms were very comfortable but ceilings are slopped so not good if you are tall. Brilliant shower but getting a little worn, still loved it. Food on the premises good and reasonable, friendly staff.'

'What a wonderful Apartment. Beautiful and clean with AMAZING views. The Apartment has an uninterrupted view of the ocean and we even got to watch the Whales from the balcony. The Apartment is huge with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cleaning lady was lovely and friendly and did our laundry when we arrived and everything was washed and dried in no time. I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family. It was definitely a highlight of our 2 week holiday...

'We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. We will definitely return.'

'Fijn hotel, goed gelegen ten opzicht van de Cederbergen. In de Cederbergen is veel te doen als je van sportief bezig zijn houdt. Ook komt de rooibos thee hier vandaan. Net hotel met ook prima eten'

'Prisvärt familjehotell i ena änden av stranden i Paternoster. Sköna sängar och mycket god frukost som görs enligt dina önskemål. Ett stenkast från stranden som erbjuder promenader i båda riktningarna och ett dopp i havet om inte det är för kallt. Vill du ha god och prisvärd mat och dryck rekommendera Voolstrandt Restaurang 5 minuter från hotellet. Boka bord om du villfara säker på ett bord.'
