'I really love how peaceful the house and the area are. Very beautiful views of Lake Egypt. I love also how close it is to a bigger city like Marion so you can go shopping at Walmart or even go to Carbondale for shopping. I also love how it’s close to a lot of different/beautiful trails. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We really didn’t want to leave and go back to reality. Must stay. '

'We stayed there for a Hunting Trip. Myself and 3 other guys. Property was clean. Property was exactly as described. Plenty of parking space. BBQ grill can probably be replaced. Nearing end of life. Fridge in Kitchen could use some maintenance, works great, just leaking water from bottom gasket. All other appliances in working order, air conditioning/heater works great. No complaints. 'We absolutely loved our stay!! The layout of the house makes for a great family getaway! Everything was clean, organized, and very well maintained. 'The house is a good size, roomy for a large family with large bedrooms. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Very pretty view of lake and down to dock. The location of the kitchen and living room being on the ground floor was a bit cumbersome for older folks with carrying in groceries, coolers, etc. You will have to go up and down stairs either inside or outside. Beds were clean and comfortable. We had issue with TV not working but management company was responsive and tried to assist....

'Overall, this was a nice place to stay. The lake is very nice and we had access to a beach and a dock. The only thing that we felt was missing was a grill. There was a fire pit outside with a grate held up with bricks, which was what we were told we could use as a bbq grill, but I think we were expecting an actual grill. Still, overall everything was great.'

'We booked this location for a 70th birthday celebration. It was perfect for our needs- well appointed and spacious enough for 3 adult couples and a teen. We prepared two meals at the cottage and found the kitchen to be stocked with all the appliances, dishes and utensils we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was especially hot the weekend we visited- all three generations were grateful for the exceptional air conditioning unit. We will definitely consider booking this property again...
