Romantische hotels in West-Illinois

'I arrived at the hotel about 7 pm. The hotel is locked, all the lights are off and no one answered the door or the phone. I have never experienced anything like tbis before. I demand a refund and an apology. Take the hotel conditions, etc. with a grain of salt. The form required all fields to be entered to make a submission. '

In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining. The entire property can be seen from two sitting areas plus an screen room facing the woods and Quincy Bay. The kitchen was massive and had everything we needed. 'Hotel has a beautiful carved maple lobby, beautiful view of the illinois river & friendlt and accomodating staff. Rooms are nice. Some of the hallways etc could use some updating. Nice and quiet with excellent complimentary coffee in the mornings. Irish pub within walking distance as well as excellent pizza at Hoops Pizza and beer. Also located next to I 74 with wasy access'

'We were in town for a wedding. We found the front desk staff (especially Johnny Moore) to be friendly, helpful, reliable, and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The beds were comfy. The shower had great water pressure. The free hot breakfast was delicious.'

'We had a lovely stay. Although there were 2 full beds instead of queens, we each took one and it was comfy. The windows are in need of cleaning but there wasn't much of a view anyway. It was a great place for us. '
