'Overall I'd give 4.5 stars. Great location if you want to be close to the National Park. I received a free upgrade to the king room on the ground floor, but there was a persistent musty smell, similar to a gym locker. The dehumidifier in the room would not work, despite the instructions to juggle the tank until the light turns off. I suspect this is the cause of the smell. Otherwise the accomodations were fine, bed was not very comfortable but worked after a long day hiking. Check in and check...

'We’ve stayed in the Volcano area three times and this was the best accommodation by far. Check-in was flawless and our room was clean, large, and comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything. There was a mini-fridge with freezer and a microwave. There were also a few necessary cups, dishes, silverware and glassware. This is SO important in Volcano, as there are so few dining options. If you bring a well-stocked cooler, you could spend several days here comfortably. We would stay here...

'We stayed in the Dolphin room; a convenient and clean room with outdoor shower. When showering in the evening you can see a sky with stars. Dragonfly ranch is an unique place with a nice, even spiritual, vibe. The staff is very welcoming. For the light sleepers; the frogs are really loud. One of us used earplugs which were provided. Breakfast was tasty. Overall we would recommend this lovely place.'
