'The hotel was like a normal hotel, nothing fancy. The mansion made up for most of it. It was spectactular! We walked around taking all kinds of pictures. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions about the property. '

'This is a very good (clean and comfortable) motel and the parking is probably the most secure in town. . . . I had a car full of stuff and, based on reviewers comments, none of the major hotels' parking inspires confidence. At Tourway the parking lot is well lit and has a fence that doesn't completely enclose but is enough to prevent people from casually walking through. And you can park right in front of the window of your room. And it's a good motel -- I recommend it wholeheartedly.'

'We recently stayed at Five Points South for a family wedding in Birmingham, and very much enjoyed our stay. There were three families in the house, and plenty of room for everyone. Lots of charm and very clean. Great backyard and front porch area. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in Birmingham.'
