'What a fantastic place to stay. Convenient location from the train station And easy acces to snowmonkey parc. The food was amazing And the service level as well. They have an amazing bar on the roof. You sit with -15 in heated plastic iglo tents zipping from your drinks. The onsen Spa is big on the upperfloor overlooking Yudanaka And the mountains. The Room is huge. So wonderful stay And highly recommended.'

'The property and surrounding areas were beautiful covered in snow during our Winter visit. The hotel provided boots so we could easily get around in the snow. The man who was at the front desk during our stay was knowledgeable of the area and kind. We had two rooms and both were clean and comfortable throughout our stay. '

'The area around the property was absolutely beautiful and charming - but maybe because of the time of year we visited (1/06-1/08), very few places were open, despite their signs claiming what their hours of operation were. Even when we found a restaurant that was open at 6pm for dinner, multiple restaurants turned us away because we have a six year old daughter and they didn't accept kids. It was pretty upsetting to my daughter, but the area was absolutely beautiful.'

While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. 'We enjoyed our stay at this onsen hotel. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel welcome, and we were able to use the private onsen, which was refreshing after a long day. The only downside was that the room smelled strongly of gas due to the gas heaters, but we adjusted to it. The best part was waking up to a foot of snow! Very beautiful. '
