'This property was by far one of the best I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere was so inviting. The historical information online was so amazing. Everything we needed was either in the hotel or within a stones throw. The bed seemed like it was too firm when we first tried it out, but ended up being the first time I have been pain free after a night's sleep in forever! The hot tub and pool area was clean and unlike other properties we have stayed at was not full of children in the hot tub...

'Nice hotel- breakfast was ok nothing special- coffee and juice very water down. Had a restaurant and bar on premise with plenty of parking. Location was not the best for us as you could not walk into the downtown area. We drove did not use van service but they did have it which would be helpful. Resort fee really not necessary for us never used the pool or hot tub. '

'The property is beautiful, even in the winter with no snow. We had great views of the Mississippi river and my wife and I enjoyed the break away from society. It was wonderful to listen to the wildlife. There were so many stars out during the cloudless nights as well - and the quiet was wonderful. It was broken every 40 minutes or so with the rumble of a train passing by, which we also enjoyed hearing. The breakfasts were served in room and were amazing as well. Galena was less than 15 minutes...

'Mooi gerenoveerde kamers, jammer genoeg worden ze niet goed proper gemaakt. Gans de badkamer rook muf omdat die gepoetst werd met een muffe doek.Overal nog haren in de badkamer. Jammer, want moest de badkamer wel fris en proper zijn geweest, was dit een perfect verblijf.'
