'This hotel is one of the most charming English places I have stayed. We only stayed here because we wanted to go to renoufs but we will definitely be back !'

'A great old hotel in the countryside. Spacious room and very clean refurbished bathroom. Nice and clean. Restaurant was value for money, and the breakfast was very good. The inhouse pub made evenings comfortable,and had free wifi. Due to lack of aircon room temperature was a bit hot (30 degrees Celsius) and fans provided could not cope with it. But I would recommend it to friends. The only disadvantage is the fact that the hotel is about 20 minutes away from any decent road. Local roads are...

'Goed alternatief, dichtbij het Bovington Tankmuseum. Staff is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, voldoende parkeerruimte.. Het eten is prima. 1 klein minpuntje; als u wilt ontbijten, dan kan dit pas vanaf 9 uur 's morgens.'

'Exceptional breakfsst - large choice and the best cooked breakfasts we have had in a long time. Unpleasant smell in hallway of fish being cooked. Mattress in Room 1 needs attention. Staff very wevoming and an excellent location. '

'Iv stopped here a few times now and it's a lovely little quiet pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The owner Steve is a great host. The room are very clean and comfortable. The pub offers fantastic food, all homemade and the breakfast is one of the best iv had in any hotel. If your looking for a nice quiet place to stop for a few night in Dorset you must stay here.'
